Mammoth Distribution is looking for a Field Representative to build retail relationships and ensures optimal product placement for our brands in Illinois. This role focuses on merchandising, inventory management, and executing promotions to maximize visibility and sales. Serving as the face of the brand, the Mammoth Field Representative provides experiential product educations, in-store activations, and ensures consistent brand standards across retail accounts.

Key Responsibilities
- Brand introduction and Lead Engagement
- Engage with new retail leads, introduce or enhance Heavy Hitters awareness, nurture & educate
- Order Support and Inventory Management
- Order placement for retailers and ensure timely replenishment
- Monitor inventory levels in person and leveraging inventory management tool
- Optimize replenishments using sell-through data – quantitative and qualitative
- Draft mock orders
- Budtender Engagement and Education
- Brand story/promise education
- Train staff on products (features and benefits) key selling points
- Nurture retail staff
- In-Store Demos
- Execute in-store demos and promotional tables to increase consumer awareness of Heavy Hitters and product trial
- Retail Display Maintenance
- Ensure products displays are organized and visually appealing in line with brand standards
- Arrange products to maximize shelf visibility
- Maintain promotional materials such as signs, shelf talkers and display kits
Key Indicators of Success
- In-Store Visits: Completes a consistent cadence of in-store visits, as determined by market needs and manager guidance, to maintain strong retail engagement.
- Demos: Executes in-store product demonstrations to drive consumer awareness, trial, and sales lift, with frequency set by the manager based on market opportunity.
- New Leads and Account Onboarding: Prioritizes timely outreach to new retail leads and supports early-stage relationship-building and onboarding in alignment with sales strategy.
- Account Coverage: Maintains a regular rotation of visits across assigned accounts to strengthen relationships and address ongoing needs.
- Visual Merchandising Compliance: Delivers merchandising excellence and achieves full compliance with brand standards by uploading photo documentation in Repsly.
- Out-of-Stock (OOS) Rate: Proactively identifies and addresses out-of-stock risks by monitoring inventory levels and using tools like Headset and LitAlerts to inform replenishment efforts.
- Brand Education: Supports retail sell-through by conducting budtender training sessions focused on product features, benefits, and key selling points.
Skill and Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal; ability to engage with customers and consumers
- Self motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Detail oriented with a focus on maintaining brand standards
- Proficient in managing time, multitasking, prioritizing responsibilities across multiple retail locations
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
